Botulinum Toxin
Botulinum toxin, better known as "Botox", is a powerful medication that prevents the release of acetylcholine, the neurotransmitter responsible for muscle contraction. Its application causes the relaxation of the muscles involved in facial expression, softening or eliminating the appearance of dynamic wrinkles. This relaxation property allows this medication to relax the muscles related to bruxism and gummy smile.
