The Dermapen micro-needling employs the traditional Chinese technique for acupuncture although here the objective is not to reduce pain but rather to improve the skin appearance. Every needle tip of Dermapen is made up of 12 smaller needles, which use proprietary technology to penetrate vertically into the skin. This creates small, micro-skin injuries or channels that both stimulate the skin’s natural ability to heal itself and increase the production of new collagen.
